6th - 9th Grade Animation Camp
Meets on campus from 9am to 12pm (noon), August 4th - 7th
Led by Allyssa Shawboose, Instructor at Mid Michigan College

Join us for a hands-on adventure in animation! In this exciting camp, young artists will explore the magic of bringing drawings to life through classic animation techniques. From flipbooks and thaumatropes to storyboarding and paper cutout animation, students will experiment with different styles and create their very own animated short. Campers will be paired into their own production groups, collaborating to develop stories, design characters, and bring their creative visions to life using puppets, paper cutouts, and plenty of imagination. Whether you're a beginner or already love animation, this camp is the perfect place to spark your creativity and experience the joy of animation teamwork!
