6th-8th Grade
Join us in learning all about simple machines as we design, build, and test some amazing contraptions! Students will explore pulleys, levers, wheels and axles, and incline planes and examine the way gravity and friction can potentially impact the performance of these simple machines. By the end of the week, students will demonstrate their understanding of these various simple machine through the creation of a fully-functional cardboard pinball machine to enjoy for the rest of the summer!
