Coding Can Be Fun!
Free
Mon, Jul 13, 2020, 9:00 AM EDT – Thu, Jul 16, 2020, 10:00 AM EDT
3rd-4th Grade
Want to see how coding and electronics can be fun? This program is an introduction to computer science and electronics using Scratch programming and the BooleanGirl kits. Each kit is a “build-it-yourself computer designed by girls for everyone.” We will be writing our own computer games and building our own light displays. The kits are rated, “OMG, SO COOL!” by a knowledgable local 4th grader. No prior experience necessary, and participants keep the kits! Camp will run from 9AM-10AM with open work time from 10AM-11:30AM, and a reconnecting in Zoom from 11:30AM-12:00PM.
