Using cardboard, students will design, build, and create an automation that tells a story, shows a picture, or represents an item. Cardboard automata is a type of mechanical sculpture made of simple materials that let you bring your story to life! As you build you can explore simple machine elements such as cams, levers, and linkages in a fun, engaging way!
